Purchase & Fulfillment Policies

Read This Before You Buy

TTN runs this shop like support — not like a faceless warehouse. Most of what we sell is vendor-direct fulfillment, which means your order is routed through the brand that makes it, and TTN personally manages the placement, confirmation, and communication.

These policies exist to protect riders from surprises and to protect TTN from fees we can’t avoid.

1) How Orders Work (TTN Manual Placement)

When you place an order through TTN:

  • You’re reserving the item at the vendor level (or entering the vendor’s live inventory queue).

  • TTN manually reviews and places every order to confirm availability, shipping realities, and any fitment or configuration flags.

  • Some items ship direct from the vendor, not from TTN.

Important: Vendors can update inventory and pricing fast — sometimes within hours. If anything changes after you place the order but before TTN places it with the vendor, we contact you first.

2) Pricing & Availability Changes

Because many items are vendor-supplied:

  • If the price drops: TTN passes the savings back to you.

  • If the price increases: TTN contacts you for approval before moving forward.

  • If the item is discontinued / backordered / delayed: TTN will give you options:

    • wait (if a reliable ETA exists),

    • swap to a comparable alternative,

    • or cancel/refund if that’s the cleanest path.

TTN will never push a surprise change through without rider approval.

3) Refund Fee Reality (Why the 10% Fee Exists)

Payment processing isn’t free — and it hits twice.

If a refund happens, TTN pays processing fees on:

  1. the original transaction, and

  2. the refund transaction.

Those fees are not returned to TTN by the payment processor.

Because of that:

  • All refunds are subject to a 10% TTN processing fee — regardless of who requests the refund, why it occurs, or what stage the order is in.

  • This applies even if the order is canceled quickly, because processing fees may already be captured.

This isn’t a “gotcha.” It’s the real cost of card processing — and it’s non-negotiable on our end.

4) Cancellations (Before & After Vendor Placement)

Cancellation rules depend on whether TTN has already placed the order with the vendor.

If TTN has

not

placed the order yet:

  • We can usually cancel quickly.

  • 10% processing fee still applies if a refund is issued.

If TTN

has

placed the order with the vendor:

  • Cancellation may be limited or not possible depending on the vendor’s policy.

  • If the vendor charges cancellation fees, those fees may apply in addition to TTN’s processing fee.

  • Some vendors treat placed orders as final once submitted into fulfillment.

If you need to cancel, message TTN immediately — speed matters.

5) Returns (Approval Required)

Because vendors set eligibility rules, all returns must be approved by TTN first.

Once approved, TTN coordinates with the vendor on:

  • whether the item is return-eligible,

  • condition requirements,

  • packaging rules,

  • and where it must be shipped (vendor return center).

Return shipping:

  • Paid by the buyer unless the vendor explicitly confirms an error/defect scenario.

  • Returned items must be shipped to the vendor’s designated return center (not TTN unless we instruct otherwise).

Return condition requirements:

Most vendors require items to be:

  • unused/uninstalled,

  • in original packaging,

  • with all included parts, hardware, manuals, and tags.

Installed items are often not eligible for return.

6) Restocking Fees (Up to 25%)

If merchandise is returned, a restocking fee of up to 25% may apply, depending on:

  • vendor requirements,

  • item condition,

  • packaging condition,

  • and whether the item is “special order” or “non-returnable.”

Some items are final sale by nature (example: custom-built parts, made-to-order items, certain electronics once opened, safety gear once used, etc.). If an item is final sale, TTN will tell you as clearly as possible.

7) Refund Timing (Why It Can Take Time)

TTN can only process a refund after:

  1. the vendor receives the return,

  2. inspects and accepts it, and

  3. issues credit back to TTN.

Translation: refunds can’t complete until vendor inspection and credit are finished — even if you shipped the return quickly.

8) Fitment Responsibility (No Fantasy, No Guessing)

TTN can’t guarantee fitment across every machine, year, trim, cage, build, or aftermarket combo.

  • If fitment options are listed, choose the correct fitment — that item is fitment-specific.

  • If no fitment is listed, the item may be universal — but you still must verify.

  • If you’re unsure, reach out before buying and we’ll help you confirm.

We’d rather slow down for 10 minutes than waste your time and money.

9) Clear Rules, Safer Decisions

Clear rules = fewer surprises. Fewer surprises = safer decisions.

TTN is here to support riders — but we won’t pretend vendor-direct fulfillment works like Amazon.

If you have questions before purchasing, reach out. We’ll help you make the call that keeps you moving.
